,,The Alicante Waldorf School is constituted by a civil association, nonprofit, in which parents and teachers collaborate jointly in the administration and maintenance of the center. This association is registered in the Registry of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Economy and Finance on 21 January of the year 1985 with el C.I.F. G-03170016. Parents and teachers meet in groups and commissions to carry out the different tasks:

The Cloister of Teachers

It is made up of teachers and people directly related to pedagogical work.

Regarding the pedagogical aspects, the teacher's cloister is autonomous.

Parents school: A monthly meeting is held in the classrooms with the parents where they work on pedagogical aspects of interest for the education of their children. The tasks that are done in the classrooms with the children are shown and the pedagogical arguments for working according to the Waldorf methodology are discussed.

The board of directors

The Board of Directors is made up of six members, three parents and three teachers: a president, that always falls to a teacher, a Vice President, that falls to a Father, a secretary, a Treasurer and two vowels indistinctly between Parents and Teachers.

The Council meets periodically to make the day-to-day decisions of the school, having an Expanded Council once a month., where the coordinators of the different Working Groups join to debate the proposals of each Group and thus make the corresponding decisions.

Working Groups and Commissions

The Commissions and Working Groups are formed under the foundation of supporting the management of the School.. Parents and teachers can, according to your possibilities, join these commissions and collaborate closely in the running and functioning of the School.

The Commissions meet periodically to prepare proposals to improve the functioning of the School under a budget agreed upon at the beginning of the course..

The general assembly

It is the supreme governing body of the Association, made up of all partners. Meets at least once a year.
